Somalia is a nation with a young and vibrant population — nearly 70% of its citizens are under the age of 30. This demographic reality presents both an incredible opportunity and a serious challenge. After decades of conflict, instability, and economic hardship, Somali youth face high unemployment, limited access to quality education, and minimal opportunities for personal and professional development.
In response, various organizations — both local and international — have launched youth development programs aimed at equipping young Somalis with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to contribute to peacebuilding, economic growth, and community resilience.
